Miss Fong, a lady in her sixties, called me up the day my article, Cute Knits For Kids, was published. We spoke for a long time. She then told me she wanted to send me all her crafting stuff as she has arthritis and can no longer work on her crafts anymore. And so, i sms-ed her my address and today, the postman brought me this. This is not the only box as she told me another one is on the way over!!!!

This box is full of yarn. Many from overseas. I havent gone through them, nor have any idea what to do with those yarns yet. I’m truly touched that this lady has so much faith in me, at the same time, generous enough to send me all the crafting items that she’s been collecting and buying over the decades of her life. I assured her they will be put to good use. These yarns will mostly be turned into items for charity. Holiday season is fast approaching, and i believe in the spirit of giving. My kids are lucky to have me making them anything that their heart desires . And yet, there are those who have never held a single new toy in their entire life. Time to spread some love around

I got featured in Thestar Metro!! Titled “Cute Knits For Kids“. Too bad i cant get the hard-copy of the article here in Ipoh as the article appeared in Metro Central. I’m in the Northern region *wails*. Gotta wait for friends to send me a stack of it, LOL!!! I have to thank Grace Chen for writing such a great article regarding my passion.
