Crochet Collar Edging
Jan 30th, 2011 by admin
My sister’s mother-in-law handed me her tee more than a month ago. She asked me to help her add a crochet collar edging to it as she finds it too wide. I finally found time to go to the haberdashery and bought DMC perle cotton sized 8 in black (310) for this project. Used my Clover lace hooks #4 (1.25mm) to work the fine embroidery thread round and round the collar using the existing inner collar stitches as the base to secure my starting stitches. Thank god for that. It was tough as it’s really difficult to see black thread on black fabric. In all, i worked the edging with two rows of short stitch, three rows of netting, and finishing it with shells. This is the final result. I’m satisfied. Hope she likes it
