Daisy Duck gets her ribbon back

Some relatives entered our bedroom whilst we were out and let their kids play with my kids’ toys. Now, i really hate it when they do this and yet, my in laws never stop them. Gordon found his Daisy Duck without her ribbon and brought her over to me. This is not the first time it’s happened. Each time they come over, something is sure to break or goes missing. And Gordon is very careful with his toys.

Looks like Daisy Duck is in need of emergency surgery. She looks pretty bald to me, lol.

Sewing kit

Here’s the sewing kit which i bought many years ago from Watson’s. I hardly ever use it unless something needs mending or Gordon’s toys require surgery.

I cant find purple thread in the sewing kit, so i chose pink instead. And here’s me putting the last few stitches to secure the ribbon to the top of Daisy Duck’s head. I may not be a pro at needlework or embroidery, but i think securing a ribbon back onto Daisy Duck really doesnt take much skills, right.

Here, Daisy Duck looking all pretty again….. isnt she beautiful. And my kid is all smiles again :)
