This is Filatura Di Crosa Malindi in shade 705. 50g/135m of glorious blue with speckles of black and yellow orchre weaved between the ribbony fibres with a gauge of 18 x 22 rows for a 4 inches square. Best worked in 3mm or 3.5mm double knitting needles. Beautiful, eh. And yes, it’s soft to the touch without a hint of that dreaded prickly feeling.

Filatura Di Crosa - Malindi

No pattern necessary for this yarn. Think of a good cut, take out your knitting needles and can knit straight away. If you feel that 3mm or 3.5mm is a bitch to knit with, then i suggest you select a complementary yarn and switch to 4mm or 4.5mm depending on your knitting tension. My recommendation is Katia Mako 5. Comes in a lot of colors. It’s entirely up to your imagine on how you want to mix and match your yarn up. Have fun with Filatura Di Crosa Malindi.
