This is how far i got with my crochet vest. With demanding kids around, it’s hard to get much done. At least i managed to crochet 5 inches. I make it a point to take my crochet project with me whenever i go out. As hubby drives me around most of the time, i get to crochet in the car. In fact, i’m enjoying beer with him at the foodcourt now. Malcolm is asleep in his stroller. What a life. Dont jeles hoh.

I really cant get much done with my kids home. This is how far i managed to work on my beige Crochet Vest these two days. This pic was taken at the foodcourt an hour ago. The Tropic yarn is wonderful to work with. Soft and smooth. Too bad there arent much colors left. If not, i’ll knit another vest in a different color with it.

School holidays is only about a week away. At first, i thought of having Malcolm home with Gordon during the long holidays. After much thought, it’s better he spends his days at the daycare. In another two months, my baby goes to school with his brother. Big boy already. Hope i get more time on hand to work on a few more projects during these two months.

Knitting from the tabletop

Believe you me when i say the tabletop is the only place where i can knit in peace. With my two year old around, all he wants is to tag on to my breast. Cant seem to wean that fler off me at all. What to do? I need to make some minor adjustment to my Lilac knitted top. Where else can i knit from if not the tabletop. He cant climb up as i’ve pushed the chair far far away. Sigh… what a pathetic life….

This is my latest project. A beige crochet vest in Tropic, a very soft yarn in a blend of microfibre and cotton, worked in Clover crochet hook #3. I have a few short sleeved shirts that i seldom wear. They need a little jazzing up and a crochet vest is an easy way to do so.

This beige crochet vest pattern has an open front and will be a great addition to my wardrobe. Can easily be paired with any shirt or even tee. On a hot day, i can even wear it with just a camisole or a plain tube. How sexy!!

The rest of my other projects are almost finished. They are at the yarn store for some finishing touches. Things i wont bother myself with. I prefer to move on to new projects, lol.
